2nd week: Theme Bingo- Theme Bingo – Each month we will be using different themed bingo cards to teach time, money, weather and much more.
3rd week Adult Social Club: The social club will be facilitated by Family Support Coordinator. These will be evenings of fun as well as a great opportunity for social interaction.
4th week-Touch Math: is a multi-sensory math program that makes math concepts appealing and accessible for students

Community-Activities-Life Skills–Money Management
Ages 35+

The goal of this program is to become more engaged in our communities and to build social skills, coping skills, and practice flexibility. Activities will include cooking classes, craft nights, professional sports games, going out to eat, and much more!

Individuals and their families can determine their vision and strive to achieve it by creating their own individualized and flexible services. Ed Wilson the DDS Regional Manager for Self-Directed Supports in the Southeast Region will provide an overview of Self-Directed services as well as traditional service options. Both Jena Shea, whose son John receives Agency with Choice services, and Andi Lunden, whose daughter Carol is enrolled in the Participant Directed Program, will share the innovative ways in which John and Carol have taken control of their services and are living ordinary lives filled with purpose and meaning

The yoga class will be at a slower pace with more repetition to ensure that the any individual can follow along. The instructor wants your individual to “feel empowered,” as they learn how to correctly do the poses.
